Playing Cards Exhibit –
For the months of February and March, the original paintings depicted in the Sacramento Fine Arts Center playing cards project will be on display in the Foyer and Gallery 3, 5330 Gibbons Dr, Carmichael. Artists painted iconic scenes of the Sacramento Area to create a beautiful set of cards. My painting of the McKinley Park Rose Garden is the Queen of Hearts. The card decks are available in the gift shop for $15.Check out Good Day’s feature of the cards.
New Show at Blue Wing in Woodland
It’s is my pleasure to announce that I have work once again at Blue Wing Gallery, 405 Main St in Woodland. Although my show is over, Blue Wing has held several of my pieces for the months of May and June. A reception will be held on June 6 from 6 to 8, or see the show during regular hours, Tuesday thru Fri 11 – 5, and Saturday 11 – 3.
Big Names Small Art Auction (BNSA) at the Crocker Art Museum
Billowing Clouds will be auctioned at Crocker Gallery in their annual Big Artist Small Art Online Auction, It is a silent virtual auction of small artworks, with bidding starting at just $25. Bidding begins May 9 and ends June 7. The annual preview party will be held at Crocker on May 15 at 5:30 where all upcoming auction artworks will be on display. For tickets click here. Northern California Arts Membership Show at Sacramento Fine Arts Center
Two pieces, Carrizo Blue andkAutumn Peak have been accepted into the Northern California Arts Annual Membership Show, which will be held at the Sacramento Fine Art Center, 5330B Gibbons in Carmichael. The show opens May 27-June 14, 2025 with a Second Saturday reception, June 14, 5:30 to 8 pm.
Wide Open Spaces at Elk Grove Fine Arts Center
A Royally Red Sunset has been accepted into Wide Open Spaces, which will be held at the Elk Grove Fine Art Center, 920 Elk Grove Blvd in Elk Grove. The show opens June 7 – 26, 2025 with an opening reception, June 7, 5:00 to 8 pm.
2025 Open Studio – will be held once again in September over two weekends. I will be on the second weekend, Sept 20 and 21, 10 to 5. I look forward to meeting knew people and showing them my work. Please know that even though the studio tour is is months away, I am always happy to open the studio for private one-on-one tours. 2025 Annual KVIE Art Auction
After the Freeze will be auctioned at the annual KVIE Art Auction, This year the auction is scheduled for October 3-5. The Art will be display Sept 2 through the first both online and in-person. The reception will be held on September 18. More information to come.
