Step-by-Step of a Recent Demo

After taking a day trip to Donner Lak, I decided to do a demo in my oil painting class of one of the recent photos. I’ve painted the scene several times over the years and each as taken on it’s own persona. Below are images as the painting developed from big shapes to finished painting.

Second Chances –

Sac Fine Arts (SFAC) is now closed for the holidays but will reopen on January 2 with its member show, Second Chances. This show allows members to bring back “Oldies but Goodies.” Rippling Along and Bubbling Along have both been accepted into the show. A Second Saturday reception will Jan 13, 5:3o to 8 pm. The Show runs through January 27. The center is open Tuesday through Friday 11 AM-3 pm and Saturday 11 AM-5 pm.
